Water and air (wind) do not flow only on the surface; they must also flow inward, serving as an elixir of life that cleanses our nine gates and nourishes every mineral, organ, and cell, reaching into every channel and meridian. It is not enough to clean the physical body while neglecting the subtle bodies within, which can suffocate under thick layers of impurities. You may have a perfectly clean physical body, but if you are still inwardly unclean, it is as though you have never bathed in a lifetime. The water we are familiar with is a manifestation of the cosmic fluid that fills all of space. We can sanctify and purify this water with our thoughts and feelings by using measured, harmonious gestures so that our concentration on the water becomes pure, limpid, transparent, and spiritualized, reaching into unknown areas within us and facilitating our transformation.
Let this wind and water flow within you. In this way, little by little, a civilization of divine inhabitants can dwell within you, and from your heart, a spring of living water will nourish all of humanity.
Your body is your house. There may be haunted houses, but there are no haunted homes. Make your house a home. Your body is a home. Be at home with everyone. The angel is coming home… home alone.
